GreenGears Auto is committed to providing quality used OEM auto parts and a transparent return process. Please review this policy carefully before requesting a return.

Return Eligibility

Returns must be requested within 15 days of confirmed delivery. To be eligible, all of the following conditions must be met:

✓Item returned in its original condition
✓No damage from misuse or improper installation
✓Proof of purchase provided
✓Prior return authorization obtained
⚠ Do not send any item back without first receiving return authorization from our team. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Used Auto Parts – Important Notice

All products sold by GreenGears Auto are used OEM automotive parts unless otherwise stated. Minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal prior use may be present and is not considered a defect.

❌ Returns will not be accepted for items that have been damaged due to improper installation, modification, or misuse. Installation may be required to verify functionality before a claim is assessed.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged during transit, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos or documentation.

If the claim is approved:

Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Return request is made within 15 days of delivery
  • Item is returned in resalable condition
  • Item has not been damaged or altered
25% Restocking Fee

A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover inspection and handling costs.

Change-of-mind refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus applicable restocking fees and outbound shipping costs.

Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part
  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable
Return instructions and the return address will be provided after your return authorization has been approved. Do not ship items back before receiving these details.

Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed as follows:

Banks and card issuers may require additional time to post the refund to your account after it has been processed on our end.

Fulfillment & Returns

GreenGears Auto is a UK-registered online reseller of used OEM auto parts. All orders are sourced from and fulfilled directly by our US-based salvage yard partners. Approved returns are processed through our US supplier partner facilities. Return instructions and a return address will be provided once your return authorization has been approved.
