Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy describes the limited warranty coverage available for eligible products purchased through GreenGears Auto.

GreenGears Auto is a U.S.-based online retailer of used and recycled OEM automotive parts. All products are physically located in the United States and shipped domestically to U.S. customers only.


1. Product Condition Disclosure

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, items sold by GreenGears Auto are used OEM automotive parts.

As pre-owned components:

  • Normal cosmetic wear may be present

  • Minor surface rust or visual imperfections may occur

  • Appearance may vary slightly from listing images

Cosmetic wear consistent with prior use is not considered a defect and is not covered under warranty.

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility prior to purchase. VIN verification assistance is available upon request.


2. Warranty Duration

Eligible products include a limited warranty for the period clearly stated on the individual product description page.

The warranty period begins on the date of confirmed delivery.

If no warranty period is stated on the product page, the item is not covered by a warranty.


3. Warranty Coverage

The limited warranty applies only to:

  • Verified functional defects

  • Mechanical failure under normal operating conditions

  • Issues reported within the warranty period stated on the product listing

Warranty coverage applies only to the purchased part and does not extend to any related costs or damages.

All claims are subject to review and verification.


4. Exclusions

The limited warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation

  • Misuse, abuse, modification, or alteration

  • Labor, installation, diagnostic, programming, or towing costs

  • Damage caused by accidents, electrical issues, or external factors

  • Normal wear or cosmetic imperfections

  • Parts that have been disassembled, altered, or repaired after delivery

Electrical and electronic components must be properly installed before functionality can be assessed. Damage resulting from improper installation is not covered.

Professional installation is recommended.


5. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers must:

  • Contact GreenGears Auto within the stated warranty period

  • Provide the order number

  • Provide a clear description of the issue

  • Submit supporting documentation if requested

Prior authorization is required before returning any item. Unauthorized returns may be refused.


6. Resolution

If a claim is approved, GreenGears Auto may, at its discretion:

  • Provide a replacement (subject to availability), or

  • Issue a refund to the original payment method

Resolutions are processed in accordance with the Return & Refund Policy.


7. Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty applies only to the purchased product and is limited to the original purchase price of the item.

No additional warranties, express or implied, are provided except as required by applicable law.

This policy does not limit any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.
